Jaaziel Bournes

Founder of Teens First Organization, The Bournes Group, and Team Bournes

Jaaziel Bournes (born November 1, 2010), professionally known as J. Bournes or J.B., is an American entrepreneur, center‑right conservative with a pragmatic approach, Christian apologist, content creator (under the alias Jay Halo), and public figure from Georgetown, Delaware.

He is the founder and president of The Bournes Group, a multi‑conglomerate collective spanning branding, fashion, and technology. Its ventures include Bravyn (a branding partner for everyday clients), Zarvani (a fashion brand slated for release around 2029–2030), and JakeX (a digital experience brand focused on immersive web design). Bournes has emphasized that his business operations remain independent of his religious convictions, underscoring a strict separation between faith and commerce. His brands are built on professionalism, clarity, and premium execution.

Public Philosophy & Identity

Bournes is recognized for his unapologetic voice and rejection of political extremes. He distances himself from both far‑right and far‑left ideologies, instead promoting open‑mindedness grounded in realism. His messaging emphasizes personal responsibility, civic literacy, and faith‑based leadership.

Identifying as mixed race, Bournes has spoken openly about his discomfort with cultural labels and stereotypes. While acknowledging that he could be categorized as Black by definition, he has publicly dissociated from the Black community, citing concerns about representation and cultural norms. These positions have drawn both criticism and support, making him a polarizing figure in discussions of race and identity.

He advocates for All Lives Matter and teen rights, frequently challenging assumptions placed on young men of color—particularly in athletics and social behavior. His platform stresses reform, discipline, and self‑definition.

Beliefs & Political Stance

As a center‑right conservative with a pragmatic approach, Bournes supports common‑sense solutions and moral clarity. He believes life begins at conception and opposes abortion except when the mother’s life is at risk, while supporting limited access to Plan B under specific conditions. His positions have evolved over time, reflecting a willingness to refine convictions.

Bournes has made controversial statements regarding gender identity, describing transgender individuals as mentally unstable—a view that has drawn sharp criticism from advocacy groups. At the same time, he has argued that government resources should be directed toward providing therapy and mental health support for transgender individuals, framing this as a compassionate but pragmatic solution. He maintains that truth should not be compromised for social acceptance, but also that society has a responsibility to address suffering through structured support.

Politically, he leads Team Bournes and the Teens First Movement, platforms focused on youth advocacy, civic engagement, and cultural reform. Unlike his business ventures, these organizations are explicitly informed by his religious convictions, historical analysis, and pragmatic reasoning. He is an open supporter of capitalism and has repeatedly argued that socialism fails in practice.

Faith & Intellectual Framework

A Reformed Baptist, Bournes integrates science and history into his theological defense of Protestant Christianity. His apologetics emphasize clarity, logic, and historical grounding, drawing inspiration from figures such as Cliffe Knechtle.

While his faith informs his politics, Bournes maintains a clear boundary between theology and business. His branding decisions, client services, and commercial strategies are not influenced by religious doctrine.

Education & Early Life

Born and raised in Georgetown, Delaware, Bournes attended East Millsboro Elementary, Frederick Douglass Elementary, Seaford Middle School, and The Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence (BASSE). He later criticized BASSE for what he described as misleading branding and lack of institutional support—an experience that shaped his commitment to transparency and reform.

He is currently enrolled at Sussex Technical High School, where he briefly launched a campaign for Class President. Though he later stepped back from the race due to conflicts surrounding his competitive style, the experience reinforced his focus on leadership, reform, and building platforms that extend beyond school politics.

Digital Presence

Under the alias Jay Halo, Bournes produces content blending science experiments, historical insights, and food reviews. His platform merges education with entertainment, aiming to spark curiosity and challenge conventional thinking.

While his core beliefs remain conservative, Bournes adapts his tone to engage diverse audiences. His digital strategy reflects a calculated blend of charisma, intellect, and cultural critique—offering viewers a space where science, history, and personal philosophy intersect.
